Psiloc Adds Access to More Than 260,000 Wi-Fi Hotspots in 90 countries to World Traveler Mobile Platform with Wi-Fi Traveler

WARSAW, Poland – February 14, 2011 – Psiloc, a Polish mobile solutions innovator officially announced today the release of WiFi Traveler, a new WiFi-hotspot access plug-in powered by U.S.-based enterprise mobility services leader iPass® Inc., which now comes embedded in Psiloc’s World Traveler mobile platform, thus providing Wi-Fi hotspot access to millions of Nokia handset users worldwide.
“iPass provides enterprises with a premium service for their mobile workers, and now Psiloc and iPass offers instant Wi-Fi hotspot access directly through WiFi Traveler to the millions using our growing mobile travel platform, World Traveler,” Marek Filipiak, Psiloc president and founder said.

The Psiloc World Traveler platform, which now has more than five million users, provides international travelers with a wide variety of free value-added travel related information such as weather reports, real time currency converter, flight schedules and schedule changes and a world map. Premium services include real time flight status alerts and secured storage for personal information.
With the WiFi Traveler added to World Traveler’s premium services, Nokia mobile handset users, including those of Nokia ^3 handsets, can now be able to connect seamlessly to an expanding footprint of more than 260,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across 90 countries. World Traveler users can easily access the web and use popular productivity applications over a high bandwidth connection without incurring expensive roaming fees.
Psiloc’s World Traveler platform, including WiFi Traveler, will be pre-installed on as many as 15 different Nokia mobile handsets in 2011. Existing World Traveler users will also receive the latest version of the World Traveler platform via a software update. Today’s announcement is the result of close collaboration between Psiloc, iPass and Nokia.
